Hey everyone. it's Lexi from Lexus Clean Kitchen It's holiday season so we are gonna make my DIY candied pecan. They get nice and crunchy and then we're gonna put them on top of salad bags. I'm up for gifts so them on a cheeseboard. whatever you wanna do with them. Let's get started so the first thing we're gonna do is make our little frothy egg whites mixture. We're gonna crack an egg and get that yoga out. And then we're gonna actually add a little bit of water just a little about a teaspoon and we're gonna draw it up. so it's nice and frothy. so we have our egg whites mixture. We're gonna meet the deliciousness. We're gonna put in some maple sugar into our Bowl, then some cinnamon and then some espresso powder. now you can leave that out if you're not into the espresso, but it really does add a nice little flavor going on. so we're just gonna mix this up. And actually added a little pinch of salt. I like Himalayan pink salt, you can use whatever thought, yeah. alright. So now we have our two mixtures ready to go. make sure you wash your hands so we're gonna get a little matchy. you can use a fork if you want, but I like to just use my hands so we are taking our PT cans and you could use any nuts you want and we're gonna go from her fluffy egg White mixture to our sugar cinnamon mixture, and then we're gonna just line them on a baking sheet so on top of it in getting a nice and coated and then. Putting it in the next year, so it's nice and coated there and we're just throwing them on the baking sheet. So now make sure you're using a whole pecans. If you want them to look Super pretty and your gift bag, you're gonna get a little messy, but that's okay. And once you're nice and coated, we're gonna pop it in the oven at 250 degrees for about 30 minutes, flipping them every 10 or 15. Good luck so good, they're so perfect and so crispy. so we're gonna let these cool just a little bit until they're nice and crunchy and then we're gonna change them into a Bowl, put them in a jar throw them on top of your salad.
