The finisher!! Last night's strength & conditioning session my 2 springvale white eagle u15's boys finishing off the session with stability ball plank with partner.This is a really advanced plank variation but both boys have been working with me now for 2 seasons so they have earned the green light to do this drill. I wouldn't recommend this to a beginner. The ball works as an unstable surface and it increases the difficulty of the move, it strengthens the core, lower back & entire body.
When performing this exercise squeeze your glutes & abs to help with stability.
Don't let your hips sag down.
Press your elbows and forearms into the ball.
