The Step -Up is another awesome exercise many people do wrong but is easy to correct. If you suffer from knee pain going up stairs there's a good chance you're weak through this movement, particularly through the glutes. This is a key movement you want to build strength in because it has real world application (going up stairs). Having the strength to maintain proper positioning during not only the exercise but everyday movement has allowed me to get by without having an ACL for the last 4-5 years and still enjoy a fairly active life!
